One Year Apart {+ a Clickin Moms Give-away!}

While I haven't made the leap into business yet, I imagine there are moments such as the following that make the juggling act of a work-at-home mom worth the effort.♥  On the rare occasion that my girls allow me 10 minutes of peace & quiet/editing time amidst the chaos that consumes our days, one or both often come up to "work" next to me, usually coloring, sometimes tracing my left hand while the right fiddles with the mouse.  On one such afternoon, I had my camera within reach, and captured my baby both on-screen and at my side.

Honorable Mention in this year's Clickin Moms ABC Challenge

On the topic of "one year apart"... Last spring, I had just wrapped up my first photography class, and knew I was hooked.  But I was left in a tizzy of 'the more you know, the more you don't', and unsure where next to aim my bazillion questions.  Upon the recommendation of a family friend {thank you, Karin☺}, I signed up for a one-week trial to Clickin Moms.  Now a Lifetime member, Clickin Moms has become a home to me.

The online forum ranges from newbies to the best of the best (the elite CMPros: a long-term, albeit lofty, goal of mine to be a part of one day).  I have made friends from around the world: taking workshops with girls from England, Japan, Australia; planning playdates with local inspiration just up the road.  These crazy ladies keep the same crazy hours as me, and I learn something new every.single.day that I drop in.  I feel blessed to be able to share my passion with such a talented, ambitious, and --most importantly-- supportive group of women.
