Innocent Wonder

It seems that the I Heart Faces challenges and Project 52 assignments are all that's keeping this blog afloat during these cold winter weeks!  I was actually going to skip over this week's challenge until I saw that one of my favorites would be judging, and decided I couldn't miss out on the fun :)  The first photo that came to mind when I read about this week's theme...

This shot of Molly, taken last year at our city's Memorial Day parade, drives me a little crazy because it was back before I started shooting in Raw format.  The SOOC (straight out of the camera) image had a color cast from the sunhat, combined with an already-flushed little face, and my editing abilities were more limited with a jpeg file.  But I gave it my best shot, and it remains one of my all-time favorites because it is just that:  innocent wonder.

  1. Beautiful! I'm glad someone else has a Molly Moo. :) Her big sister thinks that is her actual name.
