Happy Birthday!

It's been 365 days since my first post.  As is often the case, in some ways it feels like yesterday; in others, an eternity ago.  I look at photos taken the first day I opened my new (now old!) camera, and can't believe how much my girls have grown.  Me too.  It wasn't until two months later that I actually worked up the courage to share this blog (and my very first attempt at shooting in manual) with friends.  I've learned so much but still have so far to go... in both photography and life, of course :)

In the last year, I've gone from 1 (obligatory) follower --my supportive hubby-- to 23 of you out there.  Whether you are a dear friend or relative, or a newfound cyber pal, I thank you for checking in from time to time, and for your kind words and encouragement as I continue on my photographic journey.

I hope you and yours are left with sweet memories of the holiday season, and I wish you all good health and much happiness in 2011.  God bless!

xoxo,
Christina
 An old birthday favorite...

p.s. After posting this, I noticed the Best Face of 2010 photo challenge over at I Heart Faces this week.  I thought this shot of Molly's 18-month-old "cheese" phase was fitting :)  Follow the link above for hundreds of other endearing expressions!
