Girl Time

Coming off my last Chatty Cathy post, I'll keep this one short and sweet.  Just a fun morning out with my little lady and her preschool friends.  Thanks to Daddy for sending us off and staying behind with the littler lady so we could have our 1x1 girl time. ♥

I know, I promised I wouldn't gab.  But I can't help but point out the heartwarming contradiction in the following photos. These little girls, looking so grown up in their sassy outfits, accessorized, trying their darnedest to keep their voices to a whisper and to stop from fidgeting in the velvety theater seats...

But at the same time, they are still just that --little girls-- which means social invitations are often extended to their babydolls.   Coming from someone who played with Barbies far longer than she should admit, I can't help but smile. ☺
