And to balance out the wholesome goodness of the veggies? 

Years ago, when our garden was a bit more modest, I was chatting with an engineer at work and he shared this recipe.  His name was Ayoub, and I was certain an ingredient was added or lost in translation??  But this salad has become a summer staple in our house!

• basil
  
• tomatoes
• crushed Doritos
  
• lemon juice
  
• EVOO

(sorry no measurements, just an eyeball here and a handful there :)
