I've been following the I Heart Faces blog for awhile now, mostly just lurking; feeling both inspired and intimidated by some of the incredible talent that is showcased. Each week, they hold a photo challenge with a different theme, and welcome photographers of all skill levels to participate with just two requirements: 1) the photo must have a human face in it, and 2) be taken by you. Up until now, I haven't been able to align any of my favorite photos with their themes, but I've decided to loosen the self-imposed restriction and start submitting a few here and there, even those I may not consider my best shots...if nothing else just for the fun of a blogging network :)I snapped this photo on way to Mother's Day brunch yesterday,

ReplyDeleteI love that the shoes have "mom" on them! At first I was wondering why you'd have chosen to focus on her feet rather than her eyes peeking up at you, but it all made sense upon closer inspection!! Darling angle and composition. Love the shoes! Great shot!
