Here comes Peter Cottontail

The learning curve continues...We were playing around with ISO settings in class this week and I had my camera all the way up to 1600 (lets more light in at the expense of grainy photos --good for events like dance recitals, etc. where you may not want a glaring flash but still hope to "get the shot", any shot, for the record book.)  Well, the next evening we were taking Charlotte to a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt, and I grabbed the camera on the way out the door to but didn't remember to adjust my settings back.  I noticed after glancing at the LCD screen that the first few photos were appearing overexposed, but I just thought to adjust my aperture and shutter speed, forgetting all about the ISO.  It wasn't until an hour or so later that I realized my mistake, which was even more evident as I loaded them onto the computer today.
Oh well, still got a couple cute snapshots and we had a fun night out alone with our first baby :) What a ham.

She couldn't wait to give the Easter Bunny a big squeeze instead of a big wail this time --what a difference a year makes!  Speaking of, how is my almost 3-1/2-year-old looking more like a 6-year-old in these pics??
